If You Could Work From Anywhere In The World: Where Would You Choose?

Without question, the way that we work and live is changing, especially this year.  More and more, modern day workers are exploring the realistic option of working remotely rather than in an office setting.  Most of the time, working remotely means working from home, but what if it didn’t?  What if you instead focused on the idea of working remotely in the truest sense of the word?  If you can work from anywhere, after all, why not go big and travel?

If you are working remotely, you can work from literally anywhere!  You can work from the mountain tops, a sunny beach, or even the very heart of a foreign city.  Love the snow?  Work from Switzerland, Russia, or northern Canada.  Rather a warm sunny beach all year round?  Consider Puerto Vallarta, Mexico instead.

The whole point of remote working is giving yourself the freedom to work from a location that is going to give you the perfect exploration and adventure, combined with weather that is just right for you.

Best of all, you can change it up as often as you want and hop from climate to climate country to country, and so on!  There’s no limit to what you can do when you really think outside the box about remote work.

You’re in the driver’s seat

Not sure about the idea of travelling for work?  Think about it this way: work takes up 5 days of our week, 8 hours a day (plus prep and any at-home work we have to do, too) and often drains us when it comes to enjoying our time off, too.  While working is kind of a requirement to having money, you can certainly make the entire process a whole lot more enjoyable!

A lot of tech jobs from the US and Canada, as well as industries such as freelancers or consultants have the option of remote work.   In making your position remote, you can grab your computer and head literally anywhere.  While it won’t change the fact that you are going to be working 9-5, 5 days a week, you’ll get to do in a physical situation where you are going to feel invigorated and energized.

Work is stressful and it brings a lot of responsibility to it.  That, combined with mundane day to day life is enough to get the best of anyone.  So, shake it up by working from the mountain tops in Switzerland, or Puerto Vallarta with its sunny beaches.  Whatever your dream climate is, make it a reality and still earn a living like you’re used to.
